black and white living room

I love how crisp, neat and tidy black and white look together. 

These windows (set of 3), and this one-seater lounge = something I like a lot!

Yummy = texture with a dash of colour.

The 'wrapping paper' artwork (above right) is often a talking point when people visit my home for the first time. Such a cheap and simple idea, but they make a statement because they're grouped together.

Set of 4 coasters - you know why I had to buy these when I saw them :)

tea-towel art for my kitchen

I've wanted to frame a tea-towel for a looooong time now, but just never found the right one......until the other day. It's big, bold, only cost me $4, and I LOVE it!

Quilt Covers and Bright Cushions

Love the black and white pattern on this quilt cover. Thinking I might add some colourful cushions to my plain white quilt cover. 

I LOVE the colour WHITE - it is a blank canvas and all the other colours go with it! 


I have now had my existing white quilt cover set for a number of years. I have bought other sets, but after getting them home and trying them out, they just haven't looked right. You guessed it, I am still looking for that PERFECT quilt cover set!


So, I have decided to find some BRIGHT cushions to jazz-up the white. Ada and Darcy adaanddarcy.blogspot.com have some amazing, unique and bright patterned cushions.  Below are just a couple that caught my eye on their blog.....

The floral one at the front would look beautiful on my bed - along with some plain coloured cushions to match. 

Yes please!

Here's hoping I can find that perfect quilt cover sometime soon. Until then, I shall continue my search for the perfect cushion to accompany my plain, yet versatile white quilt cover.
